If you love all things pumpkin, you will want to check out this pumpkin fluff dip. You can easily make this recipe and enjoy it at your next Fall party right along with your slice of pumpkin pie.
This recipe does require once you have made it to place it in the fridge so that it can set up a bit (you have to use softened cream cheese so everything blends easily).
How Do you Get Pumpkin Puree?
You can buy pumpkin puree in the store (it’s pumpkin pie filling). We bake our own pie pumpkins, so after cooking the pumpkin, you need to mix it really well to soften and smooth it’s texture.

Homemade Pumpkin Fluff Dip
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 2/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 jar marshmallow fluff (7 ounce jar)
- 1.2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- In a bowl mix all the ingredients together until smooth.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix again (we used a hand mixer).
- Place the dip into a small bowl or ramekin, cover and place in the fridge to chill.
- Serve with graham crackers and vanilla wafers, pretzels or apples.
What Spices Are Used in Pumpkin Dip?
We use pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon. You could certainly adjusts these to your taste.
What Do You Serve With The Dip?
You can serve it with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, ginger snaps and apple slices. Nuts and pretzels are also great combination to add. You can serve it simple or add in a wide selection of options you want.

How Do You Display the Dip?
We use small 8 ounce ramekins to display the dip. You can really capture the Fall theme with decorating with Fall decor. If you have a small pumpkin, you can remove the top and scoop it out and serve the dip in the pumpkin. You could also place the ramekin inside the pumpkin to keep the two from touching.

Can You Add Things To the Pumpkin Fluff Dip?
Definitely. You can add mini chocolate chips to the dip. There are some recipes that use whipped topping and some even use cheesecake pudding or instant vanilla pudding mix. You can certainly tailor the pumpkin fluff dip to meet your guests (and importantly yours if there is left overs) tastes.
