make easy apple turnovers
Apple turnovers are one of my favorite sweets to eat. They are crispy and a little crunchy, while being soft in the middle with delicious apples with a hint of cinnamon. We have a lot of apple trees, and can our own apple pie filling. This allows us to use fresh apples to make this delicious recipe.

These are a perfect simple recipe to make that requires little effort when you have to bring a dish to pass or have unexpected guests stop by.
1 box pastry sheets, room temperature
1 can apple pie filling
1/4 cup powder sugar

Preheat the oven to 350F
Take the pastry sheet out of the box and cut into 4 quarters. You should have 4 squares.
Place 1-2 teaspoons of apple pie filling onto the middle of the pastry square.
Fold the square into a triangle and poke a few holes in it with a fork or knife.
Crimp the edges with your finger or a fork.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
While the turnovers are cooling, make the frosting for the top.
Mix the water and powder sugar together.
Once the turnovers are cool/warm, drizzle on top with a spoon.
Serve and enjoy.
