How to Make Stuffed Pork Chops
How To Make Stuffed Pork Chops
Making stuffed pork chops is pretty easy. You may have only made pork chops, in a pan, but baking them in the oven is super delicious too. And stuffing them, it adds another level of flavors.
You can use boxed stuffing or pull together your own as noted below. You can make this as simple as you want.
How Can I Save Money On Pork Chops?
I’ve found that pork chops can cost $6.99 a pound. I instead will buy a pork loin when it is on sale (around $2.99 sometimes) and cut my own boneless pork chops from it (or ask the butcher department at the store). You may want to trim some of the fat off the pork loin to make them leaner. You can cut the entire pork loin into pork chops, or make other recipes, like pulled pork.
What Kind Of Pork Chops Are Used?
We use a thick cut pork chop. Cut them about 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick. This will allow you to cut a slit in the middle and allow space to stuff them full of delicious stuffing.
What Type of Stuffing Can Be Used?
You can use your traditional bread stuffing that you make during the holidays. Depending on your families taste, you can also use a rice stuffing, vegetable stuffing, or a combination.
Do You Need To Sear The Pork Chops?
You don’t have to, but when you do this, it seals the pork chops and keeps them from becoming dry while cooking. I highly recommend you sear them to lock in that flavor.

- Cook for 30-35 minutes, until the internal temperature is 145F.
- Remove from the oven once cooked and enjoy with delicious corn bread.
