Can I Use Crunchy Peanut Butter?
Defintely a favorite of ours is making these no-bake cookies with crunchy peanut butter. It gives a little crunch to the cookies.
How Do I Keep My No Bake Cookies From Being too Sticky?
To keep your cookies from being sticky, three things to do. Make sure you bring the sugar mix to a boil you cannot stir down and then set the timer for 1 1/2 minutes. When you dd the oatmeal, make sure to stir in the peanut butter and then the vanilla to evenly incorporate before adding the oatmeal. If the cookies seem to be soupy, add a little more oatmeal (a tablespoon at a time) to tighen up, but not give a dry consistency before dropping onto the parchment.
Why Are My Cookies too Dry or Crumbly?
No bake cookies while quick to make, they are sometimes difficult. Measuring the dry and wet ingredients a head of time makes it easier to get this no bake cookies recipe right. If you add in most of the oatmeal at the end and stir, you can judge by looking if it needs the rest of the oats, less or more. Keeping this balance will help you in your next batch of no bake cookies.
How Can I Store No Bake Cookies?
No bakes should be stored in an airtight container. They can last up to one week, longer if they are frozen (their texture sometimes changes when frozen, so no long term storage).
What Size Cookies do I Make?
You can choose the size of the cookies you make. We typlically use a tablespoon size for drop cookies. Using one spoon to drop the cookie and the another spoon to push off the spoon onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet.
