Christmas tree brownies
Are these Christmas tree brownies just adorable or what? They take making brownies up a notch when making them for Christmas.
I had a friend share a picture of her brownies that she was making for a party several years ago and I had to make them for my kids school Christmas party. They key is to make extra because you know once everyone at home sees them, they want one of their own.
These are perfect for school parties, office parties, family festivities. They don’t require a lot of skill (you do need to cut into triangles and get the brownies to cooperate). Wait until the brownies are warm, but not hot and cut with a sharp knife. A butter knife just makes a mess, so you need a sharp knife.
We’ve included a video if you are a visual person who likes to see making things in action.
Ingredients
cooked brownies
green frosting
mini chocolate candies
candy canes broken into 1 inch pieces
Instructions
Cut the brownies into Christmas tree-like triangles.
Remove the brownies and place a piece of candy cane into the bottom to make the trunk of the tree.
Don’t they just look cute already?
Take the green frosting and start at the bottom and zig zag to the top, like you are making garland on the tree.
Quickly add the mini chocolates to the ‘garland’ to make the lights. Be sure to put a yellow candy at the top for the star.
Allow the frosting to set before serving.

Those look great! Thanks for sharing something fun for my kids and I to make together.
