Are these Christmas tree brownies just adorable or what? I think they are Pinterest worthy!
My friend Karla posted a picture of what she did for her kiddos Christmas party. They were just adorable I had to make them. It’s a great Christmas brownie idea right?
These are perfect for school parties, office parties, family festivities. They don’t require a lot of skill (you do need to cut into triangles and get the brownies to cooperate). Wait until the brownies are wam, but not hot and cut with a sharp knife. A butter knife just makes a mess, so you need a sharp knife.
green melting chocolate (or take white and add food coloring)
mini chocolate candies
candy canes broken into 1 inch pieces
Cut the brownies into Christmas tree-like triangles.
Remove the brownies and place a piece of candy cane into the bottom to make the trunk of the tree.
Don’t they just look cute already?
Melt the green chocolate in a plastic bag and cut the tip off and zig zag from the bottom to the top of the tree to mimic garland on the tree.
Quickly add the mini chocolates to the garland to make the lights. Be sure to put a yellow one at the top for the star.
Serve and enjoy!
