Instead of buying brownie bites from the store every couple weeks, I started making my own homemade brownie bites using the brownie recipe we already love.
It is easy to make your homemade bites using your own mini muffin tin. You can control the amount of sugar your family eats and you can add chocolate chips if you want too make them more chocolatey.
What Ingredients Are Used?
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- sugar
- flour
- baking powder
- soft butter
- eggs
- vanilla extract
How Full Should I Fill the Mini Muffin Tin?
Fill each cup about ยพ full. This gives the brownie room to rise without overflowing.
Can I Add Chocolate Chips to Brownie Bites?
Absolutely. Chocolate chips make them even more chocolatey. Stir about ยฝ cup chocolate chips into the batter before baking.

How Do You Keep Brownie Bites Soft?
If you have leftovers, store the brownie in an airtight container at room temperature. They will stay soft for about 3โ4 days. You can also freeze them for longer storage.
Can Brownies Be Frozen?
Yes! Brownie freeze very well. Allow them to cool completely, then place them in a freezer bag or airtight container. They can be frozen for up to 3 months. Be sure to date and label the package.

Tips for Perfect Brownie Bites
- Do not overfill the mini muffin tin. Fill each cup about ยพ full.
- Let the brownie bites cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing them.
- Use a silicone mini muffin pan or lightly grease the pan to prevent sticking.
Easy Brownie Bites Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350โ.
- Grease your mini cupcake pan
- In a large bowl add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt,baking powder and mix.
- Add the butter, eggs and vanilla into the bowl and stir until mixed thoroughly.
- Place a heaping teaspoon into each mini cupcake section.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes (less if you want gooey brownies).
- Check with a toothpick to confirm they are done.
- Allow to cool and serve.
