Easy Honey Glazed Carrots
Honey Glazed Carrots
Since getting honey bees, we want to make use of the honey we have. Making honey glazed carrots is a great way to finish cooking carrots. It allows the carrots to be coated with a little bit of honey and butter.
We used fresh carrots, but you could short cut this recipe with canned carrots (heating them up) and then adding the honey mix.
Ingredients:
2 pounds washed peeled carrots
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
In a pot, place the cleaned & peeled carrots.
Cover the carrots in water and cook on the stove until tender.
Drain the water from the carrots.
Add the honey, water and butter in with the carrots.
Stir well to cover the carrots.
Add the mix into a casserole dish.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350F.
