Make Your Own Homemade Mocha Coffee

Ever wonder what goes into making a mocha coffee.  I didn’t think I could it a home. That is until the barista mentioned it was just cocoa mixed in the coffee. That is when it hit me. I can make this at home, cheaper.  You’ll kick yourself for spending $4-5 a drink for this.

You can enjoy your chocolate coffee (or what coffee shops call a mocha coffee) at home, cheaper and more often.

Still use the coffee shops delicious coffee beans and get them ground to take home.  Make your coffee at home, more often and enjoy. And if you love this recipe, try our hot chocolate.

Can You Use Chocolate Syrup?

You will want to use a chocolate syrup that you like. A higher quality chocolate syrup is our favorite to use for a variation from this recipe.

What Makes Coffee, Mocha Coffee?

Chocolate of course. You can use powdered chocolate or a delicious chocolate syrup to give your coffee a delicious bump in flavor.

Ingredients:
1-2 cups of brewed coffee
Creamer (if desired)
1 – .55 oz packet of hot chocolate mix or use 1 serving from a can.
Whipped Cream

Instructions:
Add the coffee into your mug and stir.
Mix with a spoon until the hot chocolate is dissolved.
Add in creamer to your desired taste.
Add whipped cream (if desired) for a coffee house look or add marshmallows for a hot chocolate taste.
Sprinkle a little cocoa on your whipped cream for a fancy effect!

  7. Oh this is right up my alley! Love hot chocolate and love coffee and I confess I do combine them together on occasion. Although, I really need to add whipped cream next time. That would ‘Make My Morning’. {New follower}
