easy chocolate cream pie
While it’s not a round pie, this is an easy chocolate cream pie that is inexpensive and delicious. It’s also pretty simple to make in 10 minutes, which gets a thumbs up in this house.
I used a large oval container to make this, but you can also use a rectangle dish that is about 9×13 to make it easier and no need to break the graham crackers apart.
If you use only vanilla pudding in your recipe, you can call this a Boston Cream Pie. You could also make this using sugar free pudding, to make it guiltless. Put chocolate frosting as the top layer, and you add the guilt back in. Love the variations on this recipe!
You’ll want to refrigerate after making to allow it to set slightly.
1 box graham crackers
9 x 13 pan (or similar size)
1 package french vanilla instant pudding
1 package chocolate instant pudding
small container cool whip
3 cups milk
Put a layer of graham crackers down in the pan.
In a large bowl, mix both pudding mixes and milk together.
Add the whip cream and gently fold into the mix.
Once mixed together it will be a lighter brown.
Add a third of the pudding mix on top of the graham crackers.
Add another layer of graham crackers and then another third of the pudding mix.
Repeat again and spread out the remaining pudding mix.
Drizzle chocolate syrup on top.
Place in the fridge and allow to set up and enjoy.
