How to Make a Simple and Easy Pie Crust

Easy Homemade Pie Crust
This is an easy pie crust recipe that involves putting the ingredients together and shaking it. It works best when you have a bowl that has a seal to cover the bowl. This recipe only has 4 ingredients and you can say you had your work out after you make it. This homemade pie crust made with shortening so it’s flaking a delicious.
You can make this pie crust with a butter flavored shortening, but using regular works too.
This recipe makes 1 pie crust for the bottom. If you want to make a crust for the top, double the recipe.

How to Make Pie Crust Dough
You can get your kids involved in making this recipe.
You add the ingredients and shake it (while holding on to the seal on the bowl)
And then add more ingredients and shake it some more.

Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
½ teaspoon salt
2/3 cup + 2 tablespoons butter-flavored vegetable shortening (can use regular shortening too)
1/4 cup ice cold water

Instructions:
In your bowl, add the flour and salt and mix. Use a large bowl with a seal.
Add the shortening and place the seal on the bowl (burp it). Hanging onto the bowl and onto the seal, you will want to shake it until the shortening is incorporated together and is a course mealy texture.

Remove the seal and add the ice cold water and close the seal (burp again) and shake until the dough forms a ball (will make a thump sound). If the dough doesn’t form into ball, you can form it with your hand.
You can put your dough ball into plastic wrap and put into the fridge.
When you are redy for the dough, remove from fridge or freezer and let it thaw.
Roll out onto a floured pastry sheet.
Makes one 9″ pie crust.

now this one I think I can do lol I am not very handy in the kitchen , but the premade crusts you get at the store just dont taste the same as homemade
