What Goes Into Orange Chicken?
Orange juice goes into making this chicken dish. You will want lemon juice, rice vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar (to sweeten) and cornstarch (to thicken). Minced garlic and ground ginger bring the signature flavor together.
Do I Use All the Sauce You Make?
You can use all the sauce, or be more reserved with it and you can cook additional popcorn chicken as you need it and add the sauce you want heated and poured over the chicken and rice.
What Is Your Asian Chicken Hack?
Use popcorn chicken in this recipe for an easy hack. I keep any extra sauce in a mason jar in the fridge. This lets us make this dish quickly with the remaining orange sauce.
How Do I Prepare The Chicken?
Prepare in the oven or a toaster oven can be used. Use popcorn chicken as a ‘cheat’ to make this recipe. Use chicken you like that has a delicious batter on it. Cook the chicken like normal. Prepare the sauce and place the cooked chicken into the sauce.
