instant pot barbecue beef short ribs
Cooking in the instant pot gives me such joy. I put everything in, push the button and walk away. It doesn’t get easier than that. These barbecue beef short rib are so tender in the instant pot. See how you can make them for your family below.
Cooking time is a little different for bone in or out, but listed below.
6-10 beef short ribs, thawed
1 bottle honey barbecue sauce
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup yellow mustard
1/4 teaspoon red peppercorns
One ingredient not listed, is lemon pepper. Before making the sauce, I sprinkle lemon pepper all over the ribs in the instant pot.
In a bowl, I add all the ingredients and mix them. I then pour the barbecue over the beef short ribs and close the lid.
The ribs are cooks for 1 hour on the meat setting (or manual) if they are bone in. No bones? Cook them for 45 minutes. Let them do a natural pressure release.
Serve with baked potatoes and green beans or your favorite vegetables.
