Why You Need to Stay at Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center while in Branson

Outside Stone Castle Hotel and Conference Center Branson Missouri

On a recent trip to Branson Missouri, I was invited to stay at the Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center. What girl doesn’t dream of staying in a castle and being a princess, right?  This hotel is beautiful on the inside and out.  The staff is phenomenal and treat you like family.  You need to come here for Christmas for their extra touches they do to make it special for your family.

In the Heart of Branson

The Stone Castle Hotel and Conference Center is located in the heart of everything in Branson, but not right on the main strip.  The hotel’s road is on the strip, but like any castle, you drive 3 or 4 blocks and are there.  The hotel sits far enough back that you hear no noise from the road and can enjoy a relaxing night’s sleep.  I found no problems melting into the comfortable pillow top bed every night.  Rooms have a microwave and a fridge, making it great to store and warm up leftovers, because you are fed well in Branson.

This is a family friendly affordable hotel.  Depending on when you stay, rates can be as low at $79. My kids would have loved swimming in the 2 pool and checking out the arcade.  When they are with me, they usually explore the hotel grounds in the morning with their dad.  The would have had lots to explore here and they would have loved the arcade.  There are 3 building to accommodate their guests.   I love that there are family suites.  We like room with space for everyone to relax.  And with free wi-fi, the kids are able to use their tech and chill.

While here I did stay in the Native American room.  You can see my video below that shows how beautifully decorated it is.  There are 37 themed rooms.  We were able to tour a few of them and they are just beautiful.  Which room is your favorite? I loved that there was a jetted tub in mine.  There is also a Clay Cooper Room, Andy Williams and Dolly Parton’s Stampede room, just to name drop a few awesome rooms.

Interesting fact:  In our discussion with the staff, it was pointed out that when the hotel is closed in the winter, all the beds and furniture are taken out of the rooms and the carpets are cleaned.  What hotel cares enough to deep clean their rooms?  Stone Castle Hotel in Branson does!

Magical Things Happen at Christmas at Stone Castle

Every night at the Stone Castle Hotel November thru December, someone from one of the local shows comes to read a Christmas story to the guests. Isn’t that cool?  Who wouldn’t want to have Clay Cooper, Charlie Green or the Mabe family come read a Christmas story?

You never know who is going to show up, but it will be a delight.  Enjoy cookies and wassel and a Christmas story.  I’ve shared a couple videos below of what you can experience during your stay at the Stone Castle Hotel.

This is not just for children, you will see in the videos, there are more adults than there are kids, enjoying this heartfelt activity.

Have Charlie Green read you a story.

extras offered at the hotel

Stone Castle Hotel also offers a cozy library, living room, arcade game room, and the ability to use the washers and dryers.    You can also find a pool and a relaxing hot tub onsite. In building one, I noticed a room with a table, and couches.  When I would come back to my room at night, there would be guests playing cards and having a great time.  I’ve never saw this kind of room at other places I’ve stayed.

In the morning enjoy a hot Ozark breakfast and eat at the drawbridge eating area.  In the Summer, you can take the path to the picnic area and enjoy lunch there.

what makes Stone Castle Hotel special?

To me, Stone Castle Hotel has something you just can’t find at a chain hotel.  Their staff and owners are caring people.  When I checked in, I was greeted by someone who was friendly and kind.  And it was about 10pm at night and they were in a good mood, friendly and upbeat.  House keeping stopped by when I was still in my room and changed out my towels, and asked if I needed anything else.  When I told her no, she said we could just dance. So we did for 10 seconds or so.  You get this kind of service from people who are happy and want you to have a great stay.

When I checked out, again super friendly happy people. I was treated like a person, not a room number my entire stay. This is a place I would come back to with my family. Be sure to reserve your favorite themed room at Stone Castle Hotel.
