I got the Tupperware Stack Cooker recently and this recipe to try and see how I could make a cake in the microwave.
I didn’t have to heat up my house (which is great for the summer months) and it was easy.
I sprinkled powered sugar on top (you could drizzle frosting on if you wanted).
Check out the recipe and try it yourself!
Ingredients:
1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix
4 eggs at room temp
1 small box instant chocolate pudding
¾ – 1 cup kahlua
½ cup cold water
½ cup veg. oil (may be replaced with apple sauce for lower fat option)
Cool whip or powdered sugar for topping.
Instructions:
In the Tupperware Mix n Stor pitcher plus, combine all ingredients and mix well.
Pour the batter into the Tupperwave Stack Cooker with the cone in the middle.
Let sit for 5 minutes. Microwave on high 7-13 minutes.
Watch to see cake pull away from sides of container till done. Invert onto a serving plate or the cover of the stack cooker. Drizzle icing or powered sugar over the top or serve with fresh whipped topping made in the Tupperware Whip and Prep.
YUM! I’ve never made a cake in the microwave…MUST TRY!
It is easy peazy April!
Yummy! It is amazing the things that you can make in the microwave. I am coming to your house to enjoy some cake. 🙂
It is amazing isn’t it? We are out of cake, we’ll have to make more if you stop by!
Drooling at the sight of this yummy treat! 🙂
You could drizzle chocolate syrup on it too if you wanted to take it up a notch. We used confectioners sugar to keep it ‘healthy’.
It looks yummy! I would not have guessed from looking at it that it was made in a microwave. That would certainly speed up the time.
It is surprising, isn’t it? It was good and keeping the kids out of it was a task. Tasted great with ice cream!
that looks fabulous and so easy…which makes it even more tempting!
It is. And the fact that you are about 10 minutes away from eating cake, can be dangerous…. or great if you need to serve something quick for unexpected guests.
