homemade Halloween mummy pretzel rods
Need a quick and easy treat to bring to your next Halloween party? These mummy pretzel rods are perfect! Within about 30 minutes you have your treat made for your party. And they are inexpensive to make!
My kids like to take these in their lunches after Halloween snacks, because I make ‘extra’. It’s a little treat.
Have younger kids, you can break the pretzel rods in half and make small mummies.

Ingredients:
Pretzel Rods
White chocolate chips (or melting chocolates)
Mini chocolate chips (or candy eyes)
Pan with silicone mat, parchment paper or wire rack.
Instruction:
In a mason jar, or microwave safe container with tall sides (like a glass), melt the white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds.
Stir and microwave more if needed, until the chocolate is melted.
Take the pretzel rods and place into the jar. Tip the jar and twirl the pretzel rod to coat it with white chocolate.
Swirl the pretzel in the jar to remove and excess chocolate.
Place on the pan and allow to cool.
Place the eyes on the rod.
Take your spoon and get some chocolate on it and drizzle it over the pretzels to form the ‘wrap’ part of the mummy pretzel look.
Allow to set and remove carefully from the pan.
