Make Festive Christmas Popcorn Recipe for Holiday Gifts
Christmas Popcorn Recipe
It can get expensive buying gifts for everyone on your list. Your friends, family, neighbors, the mailman, kids teachers, bus driver, your hair dresser and everyone else? We have what you can give them all. But what if you made the gift and it didn’t cost a lot? We have an easy Christmas popcorn recipe that is festive and delicious. I’ve even used this for the school parties when the kids need to share a snack.
You will need a couple backing sheets and parchment or silicone mats to complete this recipe.
Here is what you need:
Popped popcorn (You can use popped bag popcorn or make up a batch in your popper)
red and green chocolate discs that are melted (separately)
red and green sprinkles
Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl.
Melt one of the chocolates following the directions.
Put the melted chocolate onto the popcorn and stir to incorporate the color of the popcorn.
Christmas peppermint bark
Place the popcorn onto a baking sheet with parchment or a silicone mat and sprinkle with sprinkles (green on red, red on green).
Allow to cool and set.
Repeat the same process again on the green popcorn and then put the red sprinkles on the popcorn and allow it to cool and set.
We usually place the cooled popcorn in a large bowl and mix the colors together. We then portion this out into small bags to give as gifts for everyone on our Christmas list. This works perfect for gifts for my kids friends too.
