Visit Niagara Falls Canada

1.  Which side do you want to see? U.S. or Canada.  The Canadian side of Niagara Falls is the better falls (to be honest).  Bigger and more of a wow factor.  If you want to see the horseshoe shape, go to the Canadian side.  If you want to see a side view of the Falls from a side view, go to the U.S. side.

2. It is crazy busy to visit in the Summer. And hot. If you don’t like crowds, try to go early in the day.

3. Visit in the Winter – you will see huge froze icicles.  Maybe even be one yourself.

4. Plan your stay ahead of time – Book a hotel near the Falls way in advance.  You’ll have better chance of finding parking and a shorter walk.

5. Hotel – don’t have the budget for a hotel near the Falls?  There are a lot of great hotels in the surrounding cities to stay at.  Book early.

6. Customs  – If you have to travel in and out of customs, plan on it taking an hour each way.

10. Pack a lunch! – Across from the Falls is a beautiful park to eat lunch.  It is a perfect place for the kids to run and burn off some steam.
