easy Halloween popcorn
My kids love popcorn, so making this delicious Halloween popcorn treat was just another way for them to enjoy popcorn.
This is a great treat to take to school for the Halloween Party, your own party or work.
You will want to have a large bowl to mix the popcorn and chocolate together. You will also want a second bowl to place the mix in once it has dried to serve.
Also get a cookie sheet with parchment or silicone mat to allow the completed popcorn to set and dry on.
What You’ll Need:
popped popcorn (we used 2 bags of kettle corn)
1 package of white chocolate melting chocolate
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
orange food dye (we used red and yellow to make orange)
peanut butter candies
Place the popped popcorn in the large bowl.
Melt the chocolate with the vegetable oil in a microwave safe bowl. Melt for 1 minute and check and stir, repeat until it is melted. (ours too 2 1/2 minutes).
Add the food dye to make orange color desired and mix.
Pour the chocolate over the popcorn and mix thoroughly. Spread onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone.
Add the candies on top and allow to set.
Place the Halloween popcorn mix into a new bowl once dry and serve.
