Nothing is more delicious than making your own flatbread sub sandwich at home.  It just tastes better (not to mention cheaper). It can also be healthier because you control the toppings portions and sauces you put on it.

I love flat bread bacon subs.  It can be pretty pricey to buy them at the local shop.  When you have extra bacon, it’s the perfect time to make a flatbread bacon sub. You can add the toppings you like, this recipe includes my favorites for a bacon flatbread sub.

Here is what you need to make your own:

flatbread (we used wheat flatbread)
cooked bacon
provolone cheese slices
sliced tomatoes
cucumbers, sliced
sliced black olives
mayo
dill pickles

You will want to get a piece of flat bread and lay it out on your plate.  If you want to toast it, place it on a oven safe dish).

Put the bacon down on the flatbread in a row and add your provolone cheese (or your favorite cheese)
