Christmas comes alive in Branson Missouri. You can experience live performances year round. But something special happens in November. The shows add a Christmas theme to their live show in Branson. I was invited to Branson to share my experiences with you as a part of Blogging Branson. You won’t be disappointed. Seeing these shows will get you into the Christmas spirit and remind you of the reason for the season. See why these shows are some of the best that Branson Missouri has to offer.
Make a List, Check it Twice and See Clay Cooper’s Christmas Show


Clay Cooper’s Christmas Show is a show that doesn’t disappoint.ย Clay Cooper has a charismatic personality.ย You don’t just watch a show, you become part of the show. And before you know it, you’ve seen an amazing show that was 2 hours long!
You will also find his wonderfully kind wife Tina singing the show as well.ย She’s the lady who helps pull everything together.ย Clay and Tina’s children also perform along with them in the show too.

This is a show, not a concert.ย There are a variety of singers, trios and his family performs.ย Clay interacts with the audience throughout the show. This makes it a great show to see as it’s interactive and hilarious at times.

Be sure to get snacks before it starts or get them at intermission.ย After intermission is when the Christmas part of the show starts.ย You don’t want to miss it.

See the Hughes Brothers Christmas Show
The Hughes Brothers Christmas show is amazing.ย The brothers harmonize beautifully during their performance.ย See if you can count how many kids (and grandkids) they have.ย They are now the World’s Largest Performing Family!

It is the perfect show to take the entire family to go see. You will find yourself drawn in with the family stories and beautiful harmonies as they sing family favorites.ย Be amazed at the dancing, the number ofย instruments this family can play.ย

The show runs around 2 hours long and has an intermission, so you can get snacks, including Mama Hughes’ famous cookies.ย Her grandkids sell them at the stage, so be sure to have cash on hand!
The entire show, November to December is dedicated to Christmas songsย and performances.ย The Hughes family have a beautiful backdrop and costumes.ย You will find a nativity performance, including Santa.ย The costumes are fabulous and the baby was beautiful.
I would take my family to see the Hughes Brothers Christmas and experience this wonderful Christmas show in Branson.

Fun fact: You will find the Hughes family running tickets and concessions during the show. It is truly a family run business, and they enjoy it.
2nd Fun Fact:ย You may remember the building as the Old Roy Clark Celebrity Theater.ย The Hughes Brothers carry on the traditional of good clean fun in the theater.
Experience the Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers in Branson
Since 1959, the Mabe family has been entertaining guests with their lively performance.ย Brandon Mabe is the third generation to lead the Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers show.ย There is the famous Droopy Drawers Jr and Hargus that provide entertainment throughout the show.

This show is the heart of what got Branson on the map for people to visit.ย It has brought generations of families here.ย Those with an appreciation and love of country music, will be thrilled to enjoy an evening reminiscing as the Baldknobbers play old and new country songs. There is some mischievous comedy when Droopy Drawers Jr. and his ole pal Hargus are concerned too.

The second half of the show has a Christmas theme.ย You’ll hear renditions of your family favorites.This is a multigenerational show that your family will remember for years to come.
