How to Make Hawaiian Ice Cream Recipe
Hawaiian Ice Cream
We love Dairy Queen Blizzards, so I was inspired to take those ingredients and make Hawaiian ice cream. If you love coconut, pineapple and bananas, you’ll love this delicious creamy ice cream.
This is pretty easy to make and is so good. You could add macadamia nuts and a little coconut on top to garnish your ice cream or serve in an ice cream cone. And if you love this, you should also make our pineapple coconut ice cream.
Ingredients
1 cup pineapple (crushed)
2 bananas cut into 1/2″ pieces
1 cup toasted coconut
2 cup heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup sugar
Instructions
In a bowl, add the heavy cream and sugar and mix.
In a chopper or food processor, take the pineapple (if fresh and in chunks), pulse until it is in a crushed consistency.
Take the bowl with the cream mix, add the pineapple, banana and coconut and stir with a spatula. Stir until it’s incorporated.
Pour the ingredients into a freezer safe container and freeze overnight.
To serve, you will need to remove and let set for about 15 minutes to thaw enough to scoop.
Serve and enjoy!
This recipe makes about half gallon amount of ice cream.
