not your ordinary cheddar cheeseburger
I get bored with just slapping a piece of cheese on my burger and calling it a cheeseburger. I want to taste the cheese throughout the burger, in every bite. And I want it to be full of flavor. Enter the delicious cheddar cheeseburger.
You don’t need a lot of fancy anything to make this burger. You can make it on the grill, like we did or make it in a pan. Pick your preference.
Tip: Grilled buns are delicious and add another layer of crunch to your burger. A light coating of butter on the bun before you put it on your grill.
Second Tip: If you are grilling, be sure to take a paper towel and a little olive or vegetable oil on and rub the grill. This keeps your burgers from sticking to the grill.
What you’ll need:
1 – pound hamburger (we use 80/20)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
5 shakes of worcestershire sauce
If you are grilling, let’s get the grill going on medium heat.
In a bowl place the hamburger, cheese and worcestershire.
Mix the ingredients together, but the pepper.
Make 3-4 burgers, depending on how big you want them.
Make sure they are thinner in the middle than on the outside (so they cook evenly).
Add pepper on the burgers to taste.
Grill the burgers to your liking (medium, well done, etc).
