How To Make Banana Bread With Cream Cheese
Here is our delicious banana bread recipe with cream cheese. There are making ways to make this bread and this is one of our favorites.
Whether you’re kickstarting your day or treating yourself to a little pick-me-up, this combo of banana goodness and creamy decadence hits all the right notes. It’s like a warm hug for your taste buds, and you’ll be hooked from the first bite.
What Ingredients Go Into This Bread?
You will need:
- cream cheese
- soft butter
- sugar
- ripe bananas
- eggs
- vanilla
- baking powder
- baking soda
- flour
- walnuts (optional)
How Do You Make Moist Banana Bread?
This bread needs to have ripe bananas. Don’t add too much flour to the dough. You want the bread to be mixed, light and fluffy, but not thick like paste. Adding room temperature cream cheese will also add a slight tang and moisture to the dough.
Can You Add Toppings To The Bread?
Yes. You can add walnuts, pecans (or your favorite nuts) to this. You can add chocolate chips (mini work well).
Can You Make Mini Loaves?
Mini loaves for bread is my favorite. You are able to freeze extra loaves for later and gift them to friends and family (best gifts ever!).
How Do I Know When The Bread Is Done?
You can do the toothpick test. Place a toothpick into the middle of the bread and pull it back out. If the toothpick has dough on it, the baking process is not complete. There are also cake testers you can use to do the same thing, I’ve just lost mine.
