Impression 5 Science Museum Downtown Lansing- hands on activities to do with the whole family (perfect for younger kids)
Hawk Island Lansing – swimming, splash pad, rent peddle or row boats, fishing & more!
Michigan History Center – Lansing – there is a fee to take a tour. There is a lot of exhibits to see and great photo opportunities.
MSU Bug House East Lansing (by appointment) and there is a fee. Learn about bugs and crawly critters.
MSU Butterfly Gardens East Lansing – its free. Explore the gardens and see the butterflies. There is a outdoor garden to explore many different flowers and a play area.
Portrait of Dreams – located near the Impression 5 Museum (corner of Michigan and Museum Drive), is the Portrait of Dreams by St. Johns artist Ivan Iler. This is a interactive art piece. The gears move!
Potter Park Zoo Lansing – great to take the kids to learn about animals.
R.E. Olds Museum – Lansing – tour the museum of Oldsmobiles honoring it’s founder Ransom Eli Olds.
