This is so easy to make! Bath salts are perfect to use to relax and sooth your body after a long day. They can be pretty expensive at the store. I have a simple recipe that will allow you to make them for yourself for a lot less. Bath salts make the perfect gift for teachers, friends and family.
What you’ll need: bag of Epsom salts baking soda essential oils metal bowl jars to put salts in with tags (we use jelly jars, bands and seals) ribbon/string with labels
Instructions:
A batch of essential oils requires 1 cup Epsom salt, 1 Tablespoon baking soda and 3-5 drops of essential oils.
Make sure to mix everything in a metal bowl.ย Mix the salts and baking soda and then add the oils.
Pour with a funnel or scoop into the jars. Use a band and seal to close the jar.
Place a ribbon with a label on what scent the oils are and the ingredients on the inside.
These make a perfect gift for Christmas and use in gift baskets.
Can I Add Coloring To My Bath Salts?
I do notsuggest you add coloring.ย It could potentially stain your tub. Bath bombs we purchased stained our white tub. It took a lot of cleaning (hours), scrubbing and bleach to remove the stain.
