Homemade Cherry Ice Cream Recipe

This ice cream recipe is super easy to make.  Just 4 ingredients and your Tupperware Quick Chef Pro and about 5 minutes total you have ice cream.

I do recommend freezing it for a little bit of time,  so it’s thicker, you pick your preference.

This recipe we used fresh tart cherries (super delicious!)

You can make this with any fruit, you may need to adjust the amount of sugar depending on the tartness of the fruit.

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen berries (for this recipe we used frozen cherries)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon. vanilla
1/2 cup sugar (use less for sweet fruits and more for tart fruits).

Instructions:

Add the heavy cream, sugar and vanilla. Seal and blend to mix the sugar and cream thoroughly in a blender.
Next, add the frozen berries.
Seal on and keep on for 15-30 seconds
Place the mixture into a freezer safe dish and allow to freeze more, or serve (will be soft serve)

Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Author: Regina Sober

Ingredients

  • 1 chop chopped frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Be sure to have your ice cream maker frozen per the instructions from the manufacturer (ours takes 12-24 hours)
  • Remove the stems and pits from the cherries and cut in half.
  • Mix the cherries and the sugar together in a blender.
  • Add the heavy cream and blend everything for 30 seconds.
  • Add the vanilla and half and half.
  • Blend the mix for 1 minute until the sugar is mixed together.
  • Pour the mixture into the frozen ice cream maker and prepare to freeze the ice cream.
  • Run the ice cream machine until the ice cream is frozen. It will be soft serve consistency, and your machine will start to have difficulty (possibly) churning the ice cream.
  • Place the ice cream into a freezer safe container and place into the freezer to firm up.
