Fun Things to Do with Kids in Greater Grand Rapids Michigan

Fun things Grand Rapids
There is so much to see and do in the Grand Rapids area with your kids. There is something for every kid and the restaurants in the area are so delicious. Grand Rapids is one of my favorite Michigan towns I love to visit. The hardest part of your visit is deciding which one of these places to visit first.
Places to See
Catch Air Party Grand Rapids – perfect for rainy days and those days your kids need to burn energy.
Cider Mills – Grand Rapids has several cider mills you can visit. Many have children’s activities, but the are a great stop to grab a glass of cider and a delicious doughnut. Oh and apples, don’t forget to take home a bag!

Deer Tracks Junction Cedar Springs – so much one in one place. Not only can you pet the animals, they have some for sale!

Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library & Museum Grand Rapids – the museum is located in Grand Rapids. The library is in Ann Arbor. Check the schedule for exhibits (some exhibits are permanent). A great place to learn about a U.S. President from Michigan!

Grand Rapids Public Museum Grand Rapids – 3 floors of exploring. Be sure to look up, you don’t want to miss something cool!
John Ball Zoo Grand Rapids – More than just walking around seeing animals (which is cool), check out the zoo camps and classes they have going on.
Meijer Gardens (Frederik Meijer Gardens) Grand Rapids – check the calendar for different exhibits. Great outdoor garden and sculpture park for the kids to play in and explore, bring a sack lunch to enjoy and play all day.

Millennium Park Grand Rapids – splashpad, 6 acre sand beach, playground, fishing, volley ball & more.
Sky Zone Trampoline Park Kentwood – most days they open at noon, check for hours online. Fun place for the kids to burn energy.

All great recommendations! From your list, we especially enjoy ArtPrize and the Public Museum.
Those are great choices!
