When we smoked chicken, we smoked corn on the cob also.

Here is what you need to do to have great corn on the cob in the smoker.

What you’ll need:
smoker
wood chips (we used apple wood chips)
6 ears of sweet corn (soaked in water) with the husks still on, but silk removed You can cook as much as you have room for/want to eat

Start by taking your corn and remove the silk, but leave the husks on.

In a clean bucket or bowl, soak your corn for 15-20 minutes.  This helps it from drying out.

Allow your smoker to get up to temperature for your meat (ours was at 250 F).

Cook your corn for 2 hours.  The husks will get brown and some of the corn will get slightly brown.

Be sure your smoker has water in it (like you cook for your meats) to have moisture and create smoke.

You can turn the corn if you want, but we just let it be in the smoker.

After two hours, remove the corn from the smoker.  We had everyone remove their own husks.  The husks kept the corn warm until people are ready to eat.

What are you waiting for!  Go get some corn and get cooking!
