Fresh strawberry lemonade made with real lemon juice and a quick strawberry puree. This easy summer drink comes together in about 10 minutes and can be made with fresh or frozen strawberries. The extra puree freezes well for future batches or for strawberry shortcake. Perfect for parties, cookouts, or weekend meals.
Use a immersion blender and blend the strawberries. Cover the bowl to prevent splattering the walls with strawberries.
Roll the lemons and juice them to get 1 cup of lemon juice using the citrus juicer.
Pour the juice into the pitch and add the strawberry puree and sugar.
Add warmer water 1/3 of the way and stir to disolve the sugar. Add the remainder of the water, leaving a 1 inch gap.
Taste the mix to see if it is to your liking. If you can't taste the lemon, add more lemon juice. If you can't taste the strawberry, add more. If it's not sweet enough add more sugar.
Optionally place slices of a lemon in the mix for a beautiful presentation.
