Texas Toast French Toast Bake (Easy No‑Overnight Breakfast)
This Texas toast French toast bake is thick, caramelized, and never soggy. No overnight prep needed. Just dip, bake, and enjoy a warm breakfast with simple pantry ingredients. Perfect for busy mornings, meal prep, and kid‑friendly variations.
In a large mixing bowl or large pitcher, add the eggs, milk and cinnamon and beat until the eggs are incorporated and set aside.
in a microwave safe container, melt the butter.
Add the sugar and cinnamon to the butter and mix together
Place the silicone mat (or parchment paper) down on the baking sheet.
Put a teaspoon of the cinnamon, sugar, butter mixture on the mat. You will be making 8 dots for your French toast to go, so space out, kinda like you do for cookies.
Take a piece of Texas toast and place into the egg mixture and coat both sides.
Remove and place on top of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the baking sheet. Repeat this for all the toast.
If you end up with extra egg mixture, you can continue making more, you may need another baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
In the middle of the bake, this is optional, but I find it amazing, flip the toast over. This coats both sides with cinnamon sugar and the top will then crisp up. Use tongs to flip.
Remove from the oven and you can serve with powder sugar, or syrup, whichever you prefer.
