Make a classic roast beef swiss sandwich. A hearty, no-fuss favorite featuring tender roast beef and melted Swiss cheese on a soft bun. Perfect for any occasion and comfort food at its best.
Add your cooked/canned roast beef into a pan, juice and all and warm up on medium heat.
Gently chop meat up to remove chunks.
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder.
Heat the meat up, add in a 1/2 teaspoon of the onion & garlic powder, salt & pepper. You will be adding the seasoning to your taste and may not use all of it.
Cook and reduce the juices. You can remove excessive juice if needed, but reserve it in case you want to pour on your bread.
Take your lightly buttered bread and place it face down on a pan to lightly toast.
Cook the beef from a slightly redish color to a brown color.
Once the bread is toasted and the beef is warmed and changes color (it may already be brown). Place slices of cheese down on both sides of the bread, then add a layer of meat on one side of the bread. You can add additional seasoning if desired.
Combine the slices of bread to form a sandwich and serve, cut in half or quarters, depending on size of your bread.
