Coffee Cup Microwave Cake
Love chocolate cake, but don't want to make an entire cake? You can make a coffee mug cake in the microwave in minutes. Here's how.
Ingredients
- 4 Tablespoons flour
- 4 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1 egg
- 3 Tablesoons vegetable oil
- 3 Tablespoons milk
- splash of vanilla
- 3 Tablespoons Hershey's syrup
Instructions
- Spray baking non-stick spray in the coffee mug so the batter won't stick.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a small bowl.
- Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
- Pour in milk, chocolate syrup, oil and vanilla, mix well.
- Pour into mug and place mug into microwave,
- With a 1200 watt microwave, cook for 3-4 minutes.Check to make sure it is done with a toothpick
- If needed cook additional 30-1 minute interval.
- Cake may rise over top of mug--do not be alarmed!
- Remove mug from the microwave.
- Allow to cool.
- If desired, remove from the cup, or use the cake as a plate.
- Frost the cake with your favorite frosting.
