cans of navy
northern beans
1/2
cup
crumbled/chopped cooked bacon

cup
of your favorite barbecue sauce
1/2
medium onion
chopped and sautéed
1
small green pepper
sautéed
3
Tablespoons
honey
1
teaspoon
paprika
1
Tablespoon
molasses
1
Tablespoon
olive oil
Instructions
When you chop the onion and green pepper, you can chop then up finely. Or leave them in big chunks, to remove after cooking the beans.
Sauté the onions and green pepper until the onions are almost translucent in a little olive oil.
In a deep aluminum pan, add the rest ingredients stir to mix the ingredients.
Add the onions and green pepper and incorporate them into the mix as well.
Smoke the beans for 4 hours on heat in your smoker that is 300-350F with your favorite wood chips.
