Simple and Delicious Brown Sugar Ham With Pineapple
Elevate your holiday feast with our game-changing Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham! Experience the perfect blend of sweet and savory as pineapple and brown sugar transform a juicy ham into a culinary delight.
In a 9×13 baking pan (or pan with a 2 inch ridge), place the ham in it with about 1 cup water (so it doesn’t burn to the pan)
Press cloves all over on top of the ham as many as you desire (this is again optional) I put go around ham twice or until my fingers hurt.
Cover the ham with tin foil and place in the oven.
Let the ham cook for about 1 1/2 hours and then remove from the oven. Take the can of pineapples and toothpicks and hang the pineapples all around the ham.
Take the brown sugar and place on top of the ham. If you wanted, you can do criscross marks on the ham, bit it's not needed, this could dry out the ham.
Pour some of the pineapple juice over the top of the brown sugar.
Confirm it's warm before pouring the rest into the bottom of the ban with the ham juices.
Leave the tin foil off and return the ham to cook until the center is 140 degrees (precooked) or 145 degrees if not precooked.
If precooked, you could cook it for another hour. Let your nose guide you. If it's starting to smell like ham, it's close to done.
Remove and slice your ham and serve on a platter with your sides.
