Add the cream cheese and blue cheese together and press with a fork to smoosh and smooth out.
Add the English cheese and mix the cheeses together in a bowl until smooth.
Mix the garlic powder, salt, shredded cheddar and minced onions into the bowl and blend.
Take a piece of plastic wrap about 16 inches long. out on the counter.
Take the chopped nuts and lay a 2 inch line about 12 inches long.
Spread the cheese over the nuts, adding additional nuts along the sides.
Pull the sides up of the plastic wrap to cover the spread with nuts, adding more nuts if needed.
Close the plastic wrap over the nut log and roll as loggish as possible.
Close the ends of the log.
Wrap the log in a towel to keep it's shape and place into the refrigerator over night to set.
Once the log has been in the refrigerator over night, you can remove and cut into pieces.
Our log made about 4 individual pieces.
Place the log on a towel and add additional pecans if needed to fill any bare areas (keeping in mind, you do not need to cover the bottom.) Cover the end you cut with more nuts.Serve on a cutting board with your favorite crackers.
