Take your peaches and peel, pit and slice them.
Slices can be how you slice an apple.
In a large bowl, mix 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
Add in peaches and toss them in the bowl to coat.
Take an 8x8 pan and butter the bottom and sides
Place peaches into your greased pan.
You can be fancy and lay in a pattern or get them all in there covering the bottom.
Pour the juices from the bowl over the peaches.
Preparing Cobbler
In a medium size bowl, combine flour, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.
Add the butter and mix with a fork until the butter is incorporated and looks like crumbs.
Pour crumb mix over peaches and spread out evenly over the peaches.
Bake for 30 minutes, until brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool before enjoying.

Notes
You can use fresh or canned peaches. If you use frozen peaches, they will take longer to bake and will more than likely have more liquid, so you may want to add a little more cornstarch or allow the peaches to thaw and strain.
