Cake Mix Chocolate Mug Cake
A soft, fluffy chocolate mug cake made with boxed cake mix and cooked in the microwave. This single serve dessert is ready in minutes and perfect for quick chocolate cravings. Just mix, microwave and enjoy. No oven needed.

Ingredients
For the Cake

cocoa powder

powdered sugar

room‑temperature butter

teaspoon
vanilla

milk
Instructions
Chocolate Cake
In a bowl mix all the ingredients.
Take a 2-3 cup coffee cup and spray with non-stick spray.
Pour the batter into the cup and place into the microwave.
Put the power at 70% and microwave for 2-3 minutes.
Check the cake after 2 minutes to see if it is done with a toothpick (toothpick will come out clean).
If not, microwave for another minute.
Overcooking will make the cake tough.
While the cake is cooling, make the frosting.
Chocolate Frosting (Small Batch)
In a bowl, mix the cocoa powder and powder sugar together.
Add the butter, milk and vanilla.
Mix until smooth.
IF the frosting looks shiny (and not like frosting), add a little more powder sugar until no longer shiny and looks like frosting.
Spread the frosting over your cooled cake and enjoy.
