This may not look as perfect like what you find at the fast food chain. This is not mass production here, but made with love! Not to mention cheaper when you make it at home! This English muffin egg sandwich is easy to make and delicious.
Making these English muffin egg sandwiches at home just take 3 minutes.
Ingredients:
2 English muffin (toasted) cut in half
2 eggs
2 slices Canadian bacon or thin slices of ham (or your choice of meat, make sure its cooked!)
2 slices of cheese (your favorite)
Instructions:
Place 1 toasted English muffin on a plate.
Place 1 egg on each piece and pierce the yellow of the egg twice (so it doesn’t explode!)
Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds – 3 minutes (depending on your microwave)
Place 1 slice on each of the muffins.
Place your Canadian bacon, bacon or ham on each piece of the muffin
Place the top on each of English muffin and enjoy.
I would much rather have this than go to Mcdonalds and get their greasy breakfast sandwich. This looks delish!
I think McDonalds adds butter to their English Muffin and it really not needed. I hope you enjoy!
Oh and I forgot to mention in my other comment, oops, that this recipe looks delish! Will need to add to my recipes. Thanks for sharing!
It was super easy, and less expensive (healthier) than fast food!
I LOVE your blog! The Crazy Nuts Mom is the best title, haha. Love it as that is how I feel these days as a homeschooling mom of three girls. I look forward to following your blog and sharing info. I am trying to get closely connected with fellow Michigan mom bloggers. Feel free to stop on by.
Awe thanks Lindsey. Your blog is great!
