Valentine crispy rice treats
It’s about that time. Valentine’s Day lists will be coming home from school. you’ll be asked to bring something to your kids party. Why not make these cute Valentine crispy rice treats inspired by love.
Also great for a bridal shower.
You want to make these about 1-2 inches in size. It’s a snack, not a meal. 🙂
Once you make these, put your treats in an air tight container. You won’t want them to become stale.
They are super easy to make. Just make sure you keep your hands wet to keep from getting all sticky from the marshmallow.
Who will you make these Valentine treats for?
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons Butter
4 cups marshmallows
6 cups rice crispy cereal
1 small bottle of X & O sprinkles (could also use hearts)
Instructions:
In a 3 quart sauce pan, melt the butter.
Place the rice crispy cereal into a large bowl and mix with a bottle of X & O sprinkles.
Once the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and melt them with the butter on medium heat.
Once the marshmallow is melted, add it into the bowl with the rice crispy cereal and mix thorough.
Add in the entire bottle of snow flake sprinkles and mix thoroughly.
On a cookie sheet with parchment paper, make small 1-2 in balls of the rice crispy cereal and allow to cool.
You will need to keep your hands wet with cold water to keep the cereal from sticking to your hands.
Make the balls and allow to set.
What a cute idea! Thanks for sharing :).
You are welcome!
