It makes sense that while you are already taking the seeds out of the pumpkin, that you can save some to replant for next year. But there are so many seeds. If you wash them up and toast them up, they make a great snack. A perfect recipe to take to your Fall and Halloween parties.

How do you like your pumpkin seeds?
Ingredients:
3 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Clean and dry the pumpkin seeds so there is no goo or strings.
Melt butter.
In a bowl, mix the pumpkin seeds with the butter, salt and water.
Spread the seeds onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, shaking the pan every 4 minutes to ensure even baking.
Remove and allow to cool before eating
