Make Your Own Sriracha Mayo for Your Burger
I was given a bottle of Red Gold Sriracha to review and provide my honest opinion. My opinions are my own and my vary from yours.
What is your favorite thing to grill in the summer?
I love a good burger and it’s finally warm enough to grill outside. But in Michigan, some of us (my family included), grill in the winter. My favorite burger is one with mustard and ketchup, but I was up for the challenge to step outside my comfort zone and try something different.
Sriracha mayo burger
I made a sriracha mayo sauce for my burgers using Red Gold Sriracha sauce. Here’s how to do it:
1/2 cup mayo
1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
You just mix the two together and you have a kicked up mayo. If you like your mayo spicier, add more sriracha sauce. It was super easy! Now you can try it and see if it’s to your liking and if you want to kick it up, you can add more sauce. I liked my tangy, but not setting my mouth on fire.
To my burger, I added the Red Gold Lime and Cilantro diced tomatoes. For each burger, I added 2 tablespoons very well drained tomatoes, with a little pepper.
Incorporate the tomatoes into the burger and form into a patty.
Cook to your liking.
I topped the burger with pepper jack cheese and put about 1 teaspoon of mayo on the burger.
The burger was moist and tangy, could it be from Laura’s Lean Ground Beef? It was not super spicy, which I was thankful for as I’m not a hot and spicy girl. I can handle tangy and this was tangy.
