road trip bingo – I spy – when parents want silence
We travel a lot by car, because it’s inexpensive, and easy to do weekend trips, so road trip bingo helps us out immensely.
The kids fight. A. Lot. Making driving like nails on a chalkboard. We have lots of different things for them to do and I spend a lot of time, playing I spy with my little eye and I taste with my little mouth with the kids and after 30 minutes, they aren’t entertained.
So I thought what about something where they have to keep busy.I normally ask them to find a yellow car, tractor, etc. So I took it to the ‘next level’ and made it into a road trip BINGO.
They use the sheets and mark them off with either a dry erase marker or a Crayola marker (and a wet wipe) and you have a reusable game.
Have the kids play like bingo matching the items to get a full row, or cover all, you decide!
how to keep your kids entertained in a booster seat
I couldn’t just keep this to myself, I have made 6 different printable sheets. Each one is different, or a different configuration, so your kids can swap them out and do another sheet. Maybe that will give you 3 hours of quiet driving.
I printed mine out and then laminated them back to back, so there are 3 sheets for each child to manage. Kids can use the same Bingo of different ‘cards’ to find the signs. They all have different items on them or in different spots (mostly) to make it a challenge and keep the finding things longer.
You’re welcome.

That’s so cool to have a road trip bingo. will have to try it out with the kids the next time we go on a road trip.
I’ve certainly never seen bingo like this! This is really neat! And something nice to do on the road too!
This is a fantastic way to keep your child entertained in the car. It has been a while since we have been on a road trip. Thank you for sharing.
