We recently went to Disney and one of the snacks at the parks we fell in love with, were the pineapple bars.
My husband came home and wanted to recreate them.
He feels the ones at the park are sweeter, but we did not add any sugar to ours.
My kids ate TWO each the day we made them, so they are a big hit at our house!
Ingredients:
1/2 48 oz can of Pineapple Juice
1 20 oz can Pineapple Chunks
Instructions:
In a blender, mix the pineapple juice and pineapple chunks and blend until smooth.
Place the ingredients into the popsicle container.
Place the tops on and connect together and place into the freezer.
Allow to freeze at least 2 hours before eating.
You will have extra left, store in a pitcher and drink it or refill the popsicle container once you’ve ate them!
Great recipe my kids are going to love this and me when I make them! 🙂
I am sure they will love them. We just ran out and need to make more. I think we have made 3 or 4 batches since I posted this recipe.
This recipe looks very tasty. Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome Lily. We keep making them and they keep disappearing at our house.
We make smoothies a lot and freeze the leftovers into popsicle molds, its yummy
That sounds delicious Sam!
I didn’t know pineapple could be frozen. I’ll have to try it. Thanks.
Oh my goodness yes! Enjoy trying it out!
During the summer my girls love popsicles, so something that is yummy and healthy would make this momma happy.
We are trying to do healthy as much as possible here too.
What a great idea! My hubby and daughter love pineapple, so I really need to make these for them! This would be a great treat in the summer time in SC!!
Definitely would be a great treat in the heat of South Carolina Ashley!
Sounds easy and simple to make.
I really don’t like spending a day in the kitchen, so I enjoy simple delicious snacks too! Enjoy!
I have to be careful with pineapple (my mouth tingles just being near fresh ones!) but these sound amazing! Pinned for summer fun.
Oh wow Jennifer! I have allergies to some fruits (usually bananas). They are yummy!
