now open Outback Steakhouse Lansing Michigan

a new Outback Steakhouse

Did you hear there is a new Outback Steakhouse® open in Lansing Michigan?  Conveniently located at 617 North Canal Road in Lansing.  This is on the corner of Canal and Saginaw Highway and just off the highway.

The new restaurant replaces a previous location off of Saginaw highway.  The new Outback features a spacious dining room and large bar area.  Inside you will find the 5,633 square foot space decorated in a modern Australian design.  The restaurant has increased staff to 130, adding 45 new staff.  This means the spacious dining area and bar  can accommodate 227 guests for some delicious Bloomin’ Onions, signature steak, chicken and seafood entrees. And those desserts.  I am in love with the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under^®.

I was impressed to find out that on opening day, they donated 50% (up to $5,000) of their sales to Ele’s Place (a local charity that supports grieving children and families).  It’s nice to have a business in the community that gives back to such a worthy cause.

There is such great food with generous portions at the Outback.  Bring your family and check out the new restaurant.  It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a night out with family and friends. If you are in the Lansing area, check out the new restaurant. And save room for dessert!

I noticed while researching for this article, that when I went online, I was able to see the waiting time to be seated at this restaurant. I could also sign in to get on the waiting list.  This is very convenient and I love when I can RSVP in advance.
