Ever since we went to Disney World in February, my son has been in love with Monster’s Inc.
Well, he fell more in love when he heard that they were making a Monsters Univeristy Movie.
He has asked just about every day when we could go see the movie.
Once it got close enough, we started the count down of how many more days until Monster’s University.
So when the movie came out this weekend, we made the dash to see the movie.
It was not a disappointment.
At one point, my son was startled and dropped his popcorn and held my hand. It startled me too, but nothing we couldn’t handle.
We truly enjoyed the movie. I won’t spoil the movie, recapping it. It’s a great film, very real looking scenes. I couldn’t believe how real some scenese were.
And when we got out, the first thing my kids said, was they wanted me to buy them the DVD.
So now the wait begins for the DVD to come out.
The kids enjoyed posing for the posters hanging on the doors at the theater
Awesome glad to hear you enjoyed the movie. The kids look like they had a fun time getting their ID card picture 🙂
They did enjoy pozing for the pics, though they are a little on the short side for the height of the images.
Sounds like a fun time!
My daughter has mentioned seeing it…I’m sure that’ll happen, too!
It is something I would go see again…. you never see all the cool stuff until you’ve seen it at least 100 times (which is why we need the DVD). Enjoy!
I love Monsters Inc. I haven’t made it to see this movie yet, but I do plan to go…or I just might wait until it comes out on DVD.
Stopping by from VoiceBoks!
Movies sound so much better in the theater, but I understand time sometimes keeps us from making it in the movies. I hope the dvd comes out before Christmas!
I think my little guy is ready for his first movie! This might be a really good one to see! Looks like your kiddies had fun!
Oh I think he might like it. Like I said, there was a spot that was a little starttling, but not scary, the noises are what made him jump and loose his popcorn. No kids were crying or anything when this happened. My kids did have fun, and have been talking about the movie ever since.
I want to see this movie. I am glad your kids enjoyed it.
I hope you get a chance to see the movie!
I have yet to bring the kids to see this movie but we are so going to see it. Have heard so much about it.
I loved it. And I love that I can take the kids and see it and not get stares about the crazy lady watching cartoons without kids. (because I’ve done that too)
the forecast is calling for rain this weekend so we have this movies on the books–I love when movies live up to their hype.
We think it was great, I hope you feel the same way. Enjoy the movie on your rainy weekend Pamela!
Monsters Inc has been a big hit at our house too. Oh boy, now we’re going to need to go see Monster’s University. Now that my grandson is almost three, he is very much into playing “monsters” and “zombies”. We do love good clean fun movies – and the imagination is a hoot too!
I hoep you and your grandson enjoy the movie. It was great to see Sully and Mike as Teenagers for sure.
