Most dads are hard to buy for. Ties, shirts, fishing stuff seems to fall out of every nook and crevas for most dads. If they don’t use those things, then what do you do? Here is an alternative. I got one for myself from the kids for Mother’s Day, so I thought, why not get one for hubby for Father’s Dy?
Here’s what I did:
I found a journal (you could use a book with blank pages too).
I gave it to my kids and asked them to make daddy a picture for Father’sDay. I made sure they didn’t draw on each other’s page (or back of the page they like to use sharpies sometimes).
This would be great for grandpa too. The kids could come over and draw while visting. (make sure they date the page so you know the year it was drawn).
This allows you to see your kids cards/drawings forever in one location. (not to mention you save a ton on cards. This book cost me $14.99. 160 pages. I’ll be good for many Father’sDays yet to come. Something we can look back on and cherish for many many years.
