I hated looking over and seeing right in at how the towels were not folded perfect.
I decided I would etch the glass and make it so you couldn’t see directly in.
You can do it too. Please do it in a well-ventilated room room, wear protective gloves and eye protection.
What You’ll Need:
Etching goop (I used Martha Stewarts Etched glass material). This worked ok for my project, you might need something stronger…I wish I had.
small paint brush
Apply a good thick coating on the glass and allow it to sit for 15 minutes (or what your directions say).
Rinse and check your glass. I found a few spots I missed, so I repeated the process on the spots I missed.
Rinse and dry the glass off before putting back into the cabinet doors.
I may put another coat on them at another date. I’m thinking they need stronger etching material than what I purchased at a craft store.
It is not even looking, but kinda goes with the antique look. And I love it.
