As a parent, at times it has been hard to get my kids to eat or try anything new. I have had to get creative and try many different ways to coax them into eating sometimes. Below is my Funbites review.
Funbites® allows me to have another option to get the kids to eat healthy foods, and things I want them to eat, by making it fun.

What it it
This is a two piece food cutter that allows you to cut foods into bite-sized fun. There is a piece that cuts the food. There is a popper to push the cut food out of the blades. It is kid friendly for kids 18 months + to help make food.
I love that it is BPA free and made in the USA by a mom!
How I used it
I tried this on a bologna sandwich, grilled cheese and cheese. To get started, you make your sandwich and place the curved blade cutter on your sandwich. I would recommend getting this as close to the edge as possible to get the most of your sandwich. Press down and rock the blades through your sandwich to get through.
This is just one of one fun design, there are 7 options to choose from (squares, hearts, triangles and Minion Goggles). Order your own Funbites® online or find a store near you.
Once cut, take the popper and push the pieces of the sandwich out of the cutter.
I found the sandwich pieces stayed together for the bologna and grilled cheese. One of the pieces of bread was a little flat.
The pieces came out, but as you can see, I placed the cutter in the middle of the sandwich and this wasted a lot of the sandwich. The grilled cheese I placed on the edge and was able to get more of the sandwich in 2-3 passes around the remaining edges.
I also had some cheese that we used the cutter to cut into matching shapes. It worked well.
This was easy to use and my kiddo who has some sensory issues, looked at the food and tried it and took off with it and ate it.
Final thoughts
This would be great for cutting up soft fruits. My son tried to cut up a block of cheese with this cutter and it was a little too thick (our block was 1 1/2 inches thick). He cheered me on to cut through and out of the cutter. Cutting the cheese thinner and then using the cutter makes it much easier. I was glad he felt comfortable to use it himself.
Lots of possibilities. We love to eat with tiny forks and spoons to make food fun.
If you have kids with special needs, picky eaters, Funbites is a tool that will get them helping out in the kitchen.
