A great way to see how a farm works, is to attend a Breakfast on the Farm Event. They are wonderufl family outing. If you are looking for something to do with your family, this is something I highly recommend doing.
The events run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with breakfast ending at noon. Tickets are free and are required for the breakfast. To find out where you can pick up your tickets, visit Breakfast on the Farm approximately one month before the event.
Check out the 2013 Michigan Breakfast on the Farm schedule. You will get to meet local farmers, see how the animals are cared for, ask any questions you may have and learn about one of Michigan’s biggest industries!
